Daily we are thrown choices and faced with situations and daily we must decide on how we react. Perspective is crucial at this particular moment as for how you choose to perceive and how you choose to react will influence not only your attitude but it will have downstream impacts to those around you.
All it takes is a little moment for you to stop to breathe and compile your thoughts before making a distinct decision to react. In this little moment, perspective needs to be applied. Understanding the situation from not just your angle but others view as well, will help you apply understanding, reason, logic and emotional attributes to the situation. Obviously, some perspectives will have different results, but they should be all considered.
So the next time something happens and you have a reaction impending. Take 15 seconds to breathe. Take the time to understand.
