P365 2018: Day #015: Just Dream

Take a second to dream. I’ve been talking to you about setting your goals, putting in some actions and staying consistent. But there is so much more at stake than just achieving your goals this year. Your dreams are at stake. If you have never really dazed off into dreamland, I dare you to do it.

Take a moment to just dream of the things you want to aspire for. Not just the goals this year, but the years ahead. What do you want your life to look like? Are you going to stick with the same? With the old? Are you going to be part of something you don’t even enjoy?

Take a moment to now think of how these dreams can be transformed into a reality. Into a being of something you love and breathe every day.

Days will flow in different directions, but the idea is to ride the wave. Big, small and in between; these waves will come and go.

We all have our battles; mental, physical, emotional and more and more. The key thing to take into mind, especially going into this year is there are going to be battles, challenges, obstacles and things which will trip you up. This is ok… as long as we acknowledge, we adapt and if we take the necessary actions to learn, to grow and to mitigate these.

It’s not as simple as it sounds, but with an expectation of the unexpected, we can prepare ourselves with a ready mindset.

Twelve days in and you’re either struggling to keep up with the year. Or you’re simply motivated. If you are one struggling to stay motivated and still trying to keep up with the year.  Maybe you are yet to identify a clear purpose for the year? Have you set measurable BUT achievable goals? At the same time, you should think about being ambitious too. Get out there stretch yourself.
