In any journey, in any adventure, the storyline will follow a similar theme of the rise, the fall and the many challenges a hero faces. Back in reality, it can be very much the same as we journey closer to our dreams. No journey, no adventure has been set out to be easy or simple. There are setbacks, there are challenges, but then there are times of joy, times of treasure and times to be merry.
Just remember that through the journey, even heroes need to pause, think, refresh and recover before the move forwards and into the next chapter of their adventure. Whether they will be climbing mountains, slaying dragons or saving cute animals from traps, a hero must be prepared and ready for anything. This requires rest.
I struggle with rest. I struggle to stop and simply breathe. But in any case, we need to. When our bodies tell us to we need to listen. The last thing I want to be struggling with is slaying my dragons, struggling up the mountains and of course, everyone wants to save the cute little animals.
So no one is asking you to change the world, nor do you need to be some super being. Just know that as you travel your journey, as you adventure on. Rest and recover before you slay and discover.
