Day #063: Take The Shot

In order to see growth, we must be willing to take a shot. Take the risk to put yourself out to potentially fall, to potentially fail. But is it really failing if you have no intention to succeed, but to simply see how you go?

I am learning more and more to be willing to give things a go. For some, this can take time, while for others it comes naturally. But the more you give it a go, the more comfortable you will be, the more confident you will be and soon enough the more consistent you will be. This is the very purpose of taking a shot. Like basketball, they train from multiple angles to take a shot at the ring. They vary in distance, style and through many scenarios. But once again, they take a shot and see what they can do. They test their limits and they stretch their boundaries to go as far as they can.

Taking a shot isn’t about perfecting it, but just getting it right.
