Day #113: Embrace Struggle

The struggle is always real. At some point, you will struggle and it is as simple as that. But when the struggle comes, this doesn’t mean you should or will be disabled by it or limited.

Struggles are actually good for you, if you embrace them, challenge them and work to build the required strength to overcome them.

Think of your struggles as similar to you taking some elastic, attaching it to the wall and strapping it around yourself. Then try walking/running away as far as possible from the wall. This is tough, hard and at first difficult. But eventually you will build the strength to push further and further, soon enough you may even break it.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. – Soren Kierkegaard

The point is; you are more capable than you realize. You have come this far, you have conquered this and that and you have grown, through struggles over the years. So next time you are feeling the struggle is real. Embrace it. Take it head on and be prepared to stretch yourself in order to conquer the struggle.
