It is quite a straightforward question but it is the one you need to answer. Would you do it all over again?

Either it’s a yes or a no. But what do you have to compare it to? 

Through frustration, we can lose focus on what’s in front of us, around us and just exactly where we are. Through frustration, we have regret, we can be upset and we can be confused.  But what we really need to take into mind and consideration is that even if we have or have had struggles, are we not GREATER than we have been before. Forget material. Forget money. Think about the very core of who you are. 

The next step all starts with you. In doing so, should you have the regret of the past? The next steps are simply a way to start fresh and do it either the same (continue on) or you can venture into the unknown. 

Why should a failure prevent you from an upcoming success and why should a success that adds no meaning to your life anymore hold you from venturing out and trying something different?

Are you going forward or backward or are you kind of stuck in between?

It is a serious question to ask yourself as it will help influence the steps you need to be taking in order to thrive further into your adventure and journey. 

Sometimes we can take a step forward, followed by two steps back. This can be expected as we are usually learning as we progress forward. 

I think one king attribute we need to conquer is self-doubt. 

Getting ahead in this world is a struggle. Not against the tide of the world, but against your own self-doubt. You must be your own biggest fan and you must always work on being confident with yourself and the decisions you make. 

And as it has been a common trend for the week – when anyone gives you a compliment. Believe it. A compliment is a beautiful flower, enjoy it.

In order to get to where the grass is greener, we need to be willing to be pushed. Just a little push is enough. Depending on the circumstance, you will either be aware that a push is needed to help you get to where you would like to be or know you should be. While on the other hand, sometimes we don’t even realize we need a push to help us into the right direction. 

Growth comes in all shapes and sizes and we need to be willing to adjust, adapt and potentially fall into the right shape at the right time in order to maximize growth. 

So what are signs people are giving you a little push?

• Encouragement;
• the assumption that you have it covered;
• recommending you do the task;
• relying on you

These are just some of the ways people will give you a little push, but remember, we also need to continue to push ourselves further into the unknown to enable growth.

GROWTH is king.

Ever wondered why people intrigue you so much? Well, that is individualisation at its best. Everyone is unique, different and valuable. Being able to identify this and help others tap into their full potential is actually a common strength. Naturally, we may not all be the best at identifying, but this does not mean we can not take the time to encourage and support others. 

Individualisation is when;

Potential is realized, highlighted, maximized, because it is brought to the forefront.

So the next time you identify or see someone doing something unique, different which is adding value and making a difference. Make sure you stop and encourage them. Even getting to know and understand their skill and their unique talent, will help them be more confident and essentially help maximize their potential to be realized. 

That’s a challenge for you. Go encourage and see the world of individualisation.

It is time to WAKE UP. We are past 50 days of 2017 and it is time for you to check in. Honestly, if you’re not making progress towards your goals this year – all you have is yourself to blame. I understand there are uncontrollable factors in our lives, but seriously, can’t you just put aside 5, 10, 15, 20, 30mins a day for your goals.

Trust me, it is the little efforts over a long period of time which will, in the end, kick down doors.

We all have an idea of what reality looks like and we all have an idea of what we expect reality to look like and real life reality is exactly that – seeing and understanding how it is and what it looks like in the flesh. Whether or not it meets expectations, real life reality is what it is. 

You would be lying if you said you have never had these ideas of how you have foreseen things to be, yet they have come out either completely south of what you had in mind or maybe they have surprised you even further. Regardless, your expectation of a reality based on what you know – was not real life reality. 

The whole point to this is to understand that things change, things don’t change and things will variety to how we perceive them or want them to be. We need to adapt and go with that, We don’t have to agree with it, we don’t even have to like it. But you have to go with it and make your way through whatever way possible. 

Don’t forget, what you see as a reality, will be completely different for someone standing right next to you. But the reality of real life will never change.

Yesterday is done. Today is here and tomorrow is coming and of course so much more beyond it. So what does your adventure look like? Where will you go? It is here now and it is waiting for you. Don’t wait for something to find you – take what you have now and make it to what it can be. 

Adventure is simply unusual and exciting at the same time. Something different but something accelerating.

Day in and day out we live. What that looks like is different for everyone. The key, however, is to continue to just progress. I am one for routine and schedule, but I understand how this can create a continuous cycle which is quick to bore. This is why it is so important you are working towards daily progression Growth! As I like to say. 

Progress is simply moving forward in whatever your task may be. It can be big, small or in between. As long as you’re moving forward then you have nothing to worry about.

I know we would all like perfection and to complete our tasks with flying colours, but it just is not possible. You should be working towards (and be content with) progress over perfection.

Knowledge is power. But it is also the new currency. The value it can create and resemble is similar to a successful investment and interest. The more you accumulate, the more you can compound and the more you can compound the deeper and richer it will become. The more wisdom, information, knowledge, and content you can consume and absorb, gives you the opportunity to catapult yourself into growth.  Had I had known what I know today only 5 or 10 years ago – potentially I could be 5 years ahead of where I am today… potentially. 

The point is; knowledge comes from what we do every day and the things we learn. Everyday challenge yourself, equip yourself and prepare yourself for more. Opportunity is always knocking and experience is always ready to be collected. You are the vessel to consume such things. So do it.

The best thing you can do and the one thing you should be doing more of is ‘thinking’. Do this before you go ahead and rush into whatever it is you are doing. Surprisingly and sadly enough, it is what we as a society fail to do on such a regular basis.

We are hasty to have information, answers and results to be handed to us in a wrapped up and ‘keep it simple, stupid’ kind of way. We forget to take the time to understand the wider context or the more pressing details. This especially occurs when we are looking for answers on how to build/create or assemble something, yet are too lazy to spend 5 minutes reading the instructions. If we are to just read these in the first place, we would essentially save massive time wasted trying to figure it all out. 

I understand we are all busy and want things now. But when we slow down, smell the roses and understand the moment in time, then clarity will enable us to rush as we can then take what we have learned and apply it, compared to trying to work it out and continuing to waste time and fail.
